Beus' Pond....

Luke and I took Logan to Beus Pond the other day. Logan wasn't too sure about the geese. When they saw we had bread, they all came running and scared Logan to death! Some of the bigger ones scared me too!! They were really aggressive! Logan loved running around and exploring everything. He thought the playground was great. He climbed the rock wall with no help from anyone. Of course, it made me nervous to see him just take off up the thing, but you've got to let go sometime, right?

Photography Class....

For those of you who wanted to know where I'm taking the photography class here's a link....

There's a list of schools on the left, click on the school name and it will pull up a schedule of what's being offered and when the classes are.

I'm taking it through Davis County School District's Community Education. They offer all sorts of fun classes. Luke and are thinking of taking a cooking class together! I know the spring classes are just about to end and I'm not sure if they have summer classes or not. I usually got a schedule in the mail when I lived in Davis County. I'm not sure if they send one to Weber County or not. It's been lots of fun and I would totally recommend to everyone!
Peace out...

Photography Class....

As some of you know, I've been taking a basic photography class to learn how to use my camera effectively. I'd thought I'd share some of my favorite shots......

Help.....

So I've had a headache for a week, that's right, a week. I'm starting to go a little crazy so I figured I'd make a passionate plea for help. If anyone has a crazy headache remedy that they swear will work, send it my way. At this point I'm willing to try anything short of drilling into my skull to relieve the pressure. On second thought... does anyone have a drill???

More Easter & Kristin's B-day.....

Logan had quite the time looking for Easter eggs! Luke and I didn't think he'd really get it so we didn't do a hunt for him on Easter. Charisse set up this one and Logan loved it! Thanks Charisse.

Happy Birthday Kristin!!!

Kristin turns 15 on Monday and we celebrated her birthday with a delicious Hanna Montana cake and jamming out with Rockband.

**disclaimer** Kristin doesn't actually like Hannah Montana, the cake was a joke!

Woody, Buzz, and Easter.....

Logan got these awesome sunglasses in his Easter basket from Grandma Karen. I think he looks like a cool dude from the 80's.

Logan absolutely loves Toy Story. He would probably watch it all day, every day if I let him. I got him these cute plush Woody and Buzz dolls (wait... I mean "action figures" cuz boys don't play with "dolls", right??) and he carries them around where ever we go. It's so cute! Here he is giving Woody and Buzz hugs.

Random Stuff....

OK- so I know I haven't updated my blog in a little while but I've been a bit busy. Here's some random stuff so I can Leash off my back! :-)

Logan absolutely loves baths. He get all excited when we tell him it's time for one! I got him some floating letters that stick on the side of the tub to help him learn the alphabet. It's totally helped him learn. He knows all of the letters, colors, and numbers 1-10! He's a pretty smart little kid. I realize I'm bragging, but what is a blog for if not to brag about your kids?? Anyway, here he is in the bath. I told him to say cheese and he gave this really cheesy smile.

I recently had lunch with a "long lost friend", Vanessa. I'm sure my family remembers Vanessa really well because we were inseparable through most of elementary school. Then we never had any classes together in Jr. High and High School so we kind of lost touch. We finally reconnected through a mutual friend and had lunch a couple weeks ago! Here we are in front of the Olive Garden with her son. I'm so glad got to spend some time catching up and I'll definitely stay in touch with her this time!!
I think it's kind of funny how we were so close during our younger years.... we knew everything about each other, we knew what the other one was thinking without her actually having to say it... and then ten years can pass and it feels like no time has passed at all! I think that is the mark of a true friend.
