Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas. We kicked off the gift opening frenzy with a family party at Grandma and Grandpa Priest's house on the 22nd. On Christmas Eve, it was off to Luke's parents for delicious roast beef sandwiches and more gifts! We went to see the lights in Layton Park and Logan was captivated. Christmas morning we went over to my parents house for our annual Christmas breakfast and more gift opening. Later that evening my family came over to our house for turkey and then we rocked out to Guitar Hero. We had a great Christmas. We feel very fortunate to have such a great, loving family! Thanks again, everyone!!

More Twilight....

I'm not sure who this is, but I like her for Victoria!
I think this guy, Steven Strait, is a good older Jacob. An interesting side note... when I was searching for pictures of him, I found that he has a pretty strong gay fan base!
I think this girl from Stephanie's website has equal parts beauty and bitch to play Rosalie!
Cillian Murphy is a good choice for James. I thought he played a good villain in Red Eye.

I agree with Alicia, I think Natalie Portman is a good fit for Esme.
For Bella, I think the girl that was cast, Kristen Stewart, will be pretty good.
I was looking at someone else's blog and she had this poster made by someone with Photoshop and some time on their hands. It made me feel a bit better about the Edward choice.

Twilight Movie

Alicia did this on her blog and I thought it was a fun idea....
After scouring the web and my memory, here are some actors who look like the Twilight characters in my imagination!
Edward- Here we have two choices.... this is Chase Crawford, he's on Gossip Girl. (Yes, I'll admit, it I DVR it every week!) He's a bit of a pretty boy but that's what I like about him.

                                                             Here's another view... those eyes!!
My other choice... Henry Cavill... very much the brooding hunk!
Alice- Taylor Momsen.  She's also on Gossip Girl and she has this cute bouncyness about her that I pictured Alice having.

That's all for now... more to come!

15 Favorite Things

It took me 20 minutes to think of all of these things so you better appreciate them!!

1. Cafe Rio- What more do I need to say?? :)

2. America's Next Top Model- I realize I'm outing myself as a complete dork, but there's a pretty good chance everyone reading this knows that I'm one already! I love the catty girl drama and I also love the pictures that they take, some of them are really cool!!

3. Nissan Murano- I love everything about this car! Hopefully I will be driving one someday.

4. The Twilight Series- Yes, I love this series along with every other girl on earth. It's so over-the-top romantic that I can't help but love it. I think it appeals to my inner teenage girl.

5. Harry Potter Series- I think this is a different sort of a Cinderella story. What little kid hasn't dreamed that one day he (or she!) will discover that he is special in some extraordinary way?

6. Damien Rice- He is hands down my favorite artist, I never get tired of listening to him. The emotion he is able to convey in his songs is incredible to me. There are a few songs that actually make me tear up when I hear them.

7. Friends- I love all ten seasons. My favorite episode is "The One Where Chandler Takes A Bath", but every episode makes me laugh. Luke looks at me like I'm crazy because I'm laughing at the jokes I've heard a thousand times before!

8. Imitrex- This is a medication that makes my migraines last an hour instead of 24 hours. It really sucks to lay in a dark and quiet room for 24 hours or more! Imitrex allows me lead a (somewhat!) normal life! Wooo Hooo!

9. The Celebrity Gossip Pages on MSN- I'm totally addicted, I read them every day. It's a guilty pleasure that I'm a bit embarrassed to admit. Reading gossip online saves me the humiliation (and money) of buying the tabloids in the stores.

10. Singing in the Car- OK- technically not a thing but thinking of 15 things is hard! When I'm alone or with Logan, I put in my favorite CD of the moment... right now the Hairspray soundtrack... and sing at the top of my lungs. I think it relieves some stress because I always feel better after I do it. I also think Logan likes my singing. He is usually more content when I'm singing really loud than when I'm quiet.

11.Blue's Clue's- I love it because Logan loves it. It allows me to have some time to get whatever I need to do done in a timely manner. Thanks Steve and Joe!

12. Peaches- There's nothing like biting into a fresh peach to make me happy!!

13. Cheesecake Factory- Their cheesecake is soooo creamy. It doesn't matter how full I am, I still can't resist a slice.

14. St. Ives Lotion- The smell reminds me of my Grandma Nola. I didn't know it was the kind she used to use, I just happened to buy a bottle a little while after she passed away. Now I like to keep it around because it makes me feel closer to her.

15. Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Perfume- I got some last summer in SF with Leash and I love it! It makes me feel "very sexy" ha ha ha.

All right, there you have it. I'm going to tag Britt, Jill, and Brooke. Good luck thinking of 15 things!!!

Fun on the Stairs

Logan and his friend were having so much fun playing on the staris, I decided to snap of few pics of them being cute!
